Paul Adras is a native of Nevada born in Las Vegas in 1965. He graduated high school at Bishop Gorman High School in 1983 and attended the University of Nevada, graduating in 1989. While at UNLV, Paul Adras earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. His professional career began at Clark County Health District in 1990 where he was instrumental in the implementation of the CCHD hazardous waste management program. Paul Adras left the CCHD in 1991 for a position at the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection. There he became the first environmental scientist hired by the NDEP to regulate the management of hazardous waste in southern Nevada. Through the years Paul has managed a professional staff of the divisions highly technical hazardous waste compliance and enforcement program in southern Nevada. He oversaw the bureaus of Air Quality Management, Waste Management, Water Resources and Corrective Actions. Paul Adras started investigating a number of alleged environmental crimes and testified in court as an expert witness on behalf of the State of Nevada to result in the prosecution of an environmental crime. In 2003, Paul went on to graduate from the William S. Boyd School of Law where he earned the Dean's Award for Outstanding Service. While attending law school Paul Adras served as President of the Christian Legal Society as well as Secretary of the Environmental Law Society. He began his legal career in 2003 and has practiced primarily in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, environmental law, construction defense litigation and personal injury. Paul Adras served on the Nevada Test Site Community Advisory Board from 2006-2007. This advisory board is comprised of volunteers representing Nevada stakeholders, reviewing and commenting on environmental restoration, (for example, water contamination, nuclear test site clean-up, waste management activities at the Nevada Test Site. He has held the credential of Registered Hazardous Substances Professional through the National Environmental Health Association for over a decade. The practice of criminal and DUI defense is an art, both legal and scientific in nature. Paul Adras has experience in criminal jury trials and misdemeanor bench trials as well as conducting a number of felony preliminary hearings. His extensive civil and litigation background enables him to provide the highest quality representation while achieving excellent results. On the homefront, Paul Adras is a committed husband and father of four. He is also a licensed foster parent of one.
